Virtual Slang
In today’s world for those who are interested in games with active typing their is slang that you must understand. Many have heard the words "owned" or "pwned" which are common words in today’s adolescent language. Well guess what, both of those words have come from gamers slang. It my surprise you to know that most of the common phrases, words and even new AIM abbreviations have come from gamers today and here are some words/abbreviations that so my see. Nerf means to reduce or make weaker. FTW is an abbreviation for "for the win".Uber means someone who plays well and Epic is used to describe a memorable or fantastic event, such as "that battle was Epic". If anyone has heard of anyothers please comment shareing your knowledge.

Good God no.
I'm pretty familiar with gamer slang. I wasted probably close to a year of my life playing World of Warcraft, and now find it hard to share such a terrible experience. You covered most of the big ones I reckon, FTW is pretty popular, and most people know omg, etc. I don't really have a problem with gamer slang, except for that it's creeping its way into normal conversation. Thats kind of creepy...
